This is where it all went down for cabin G3. It was within these drafty walls that we would meet up after a long day and talk about boys, friends, fears, and God. Throw a couples sheets over some polls, add pillows and blankets, and you've got yourself a magical haven.
I want to build a fort in our apartment this week.
I'm in need of some magic.
It looks like those girls are really bonded to you, TaraB. What a ministry! I'm not very good with teenagers myself, so I admire people like you that can really meet them where they are and help them grow toward God.
ReplyDeleteHope you find some magic this week!
I dare you to make a fort in one of your classes. And talk about boys and pizza and whatever else you said, with your classmates.
ReplyDeleteSo this is how you're communicating with me now? I have to read your blog to know that you want to build a fort? Maybe we DO need to build a fort, cuz our communication skills are lacking. =)
ReplyDeleteOh the MiVoden Magic! Enjoy recreating it this week!
ReplyDeleteYou should come visit me in my fort called Camp Wawona. Such a safe place to talk about everything. But seriously you should really come.
ReplyDeletei'll build a fort with you. in a vague and undetermined short amount of time.
ReplyDeletetara,
ReplyDeletei remember those girls! know you had such an impact on them that week, they loved you so much! sorry that right now you are feeling a little down or perhaps in need of a place to blurt everything out. wish i was there to talk! thinking of you and will send up a extra prayer for you this week!
I love forts! I love magic! I love you!
ReplyDeletei hate science sometimes. i don't know why i'm a health science major. i should be a magic major...because science just explains away all the magic of life. BUT. NOT ALL OF IT. Some stuff....like those connections to the girls...those are not scientific...their heart. MAGIC. love emily
ReplyDeleteTara that is such a good idea!! I love it! I want to build a fort in India now. :)
